Health Analytics Workshop - Predict 2015
Free / Included for Registered Attendees.
Hosted by Creme Global.
Intended Audience: Interested in data analytics and software for food safety, nutrition, chemical risk assessment and human health
Knowledge Level: No prerequisites. It is helpful to have a scientific background or an interest in science and to be familiar with MS Excel or similar data manipulation tools.
Workshop Facilitators:
Cian O'Mahony (read bio), Head of Expert Modelling & Statistics at Creme Global.
Sandrine Pigat (read bio), Head of Food & Nutrition at Creme Global.
What you will learn:
You will get a comprehensive introduction to everything you need to know about major determinants of population nutrition, food and chemical safety including: food and nutritional intakes, predictive microbiology, cosmetic safety and chemicals exposure, using cutting edge data and predictive intake modelling tools.
Cian and Sandrine will present data sets, tools and techniques that can be used to determine what population intakes of different foods, chemicals and nutrients are. Answer key questions like what foods and products are driving intake, what is the difference between various demographics, and what consumers are reaching their recommended intakes and who are exceeding it?
Learn how to predict impact of future scenarios. What happens if I bring a new product to market? What if I reformulate an existing product? What consumers will be impacted? How will this impact their nutritional intakes? How will it impact consumer safety? Are different cosmetic products combining to adversely affect consumer risk? Can I predict the shelf life of a food formulation before it is even developed? What statistics can I use to best describe all of these situations?
Learn the answers to these key questions and more in a fun, interactive and practical workshop with two of Creme Global's most experienced practitioners.
Date: Thursday the 17th September 2015
Time: 9:00am to 5:00pm
Location: RDS, Dublin (Room TBA)
Fee: Included in Predict Conference registration
Course Outline
The following is an overview of the Workshop Topics:
